Is Seedance 2.0 Free? What Trial Credits Actually Cover
Some services advertise limited credits to try Seedance 2.0, but that does not establish a permanently free model or API. Check that the offer applies to the exact Seedance 2.0 variant, that your account can use it, and that its balance covers a generation with your chosen settings. Free signup alone is not free video generation.
The practical question is whether you can complete and download a Seedance 2.0 video without paying on your chosen service. A playground, promotional wallet and recurring free allowance are different offers.

Check three things before calling an offer free
First, confirm the model. A provider can offer several Seedance generations and variants under one wallet. The model used by an example matters more than the article title. Atlas's free-access guide uses bytedance/seedance-v1.5-pro/text-to-video in its Python example. That example does not demonstrate a successful free Seedance 2.0 request.

Does free access include an API key?
A web playground and an API are separate access paths. Kie has advertised both playground and API testing, while fal describes paid model usage through its service. Is Seedance 2.0 free forever?
